The Railroad Revival Tour by Stan Garner.
Join the author for an unusual charter from Oakland, California, to New Orleans with the Old Crow Medicine Show, Mumford & Sons, and Edward & The Magnetic Zeros. California Zephyr Railroad Charter's put together an all-PV trip that carried these three bands to venues chosen specifically for their proximity to the railroad. Lots of great pictures and stunning artwork taken before, during, and after the shows. The author's recollections of the trip are worth taking the time to read!

Pacific Railroad Society's Tehachapi Excursion by Stan Garner.
The PRS celebrated their 75th anniversary with a two-day excursion from Los Angeles to Bakersfield, California, and return on April 2011. Plenty of photos taken both on and off the train.

JT's Excellent Adventure by John A. Thompson.
A charter from New York City to Cinncinati, Ohio, via Chicago, and return on the Mount Vernon makes a good read, lots of large photos and juicy captions. This is quite helpful if you would like to plan your own charter on one of our member's cars!
